Developing an ecological inventory and updated management plan for the 300 acre Wilderness Conservation Area in Manchester. The project included identification and certification of five vernal pools with the Massachusetts Natural Heritage and Endangered Species Program, GPS mapping of the trail network, identification of management concerns and providing recommendations for improved management to maximize long-term protection of sensitive habitats.
